Our butcher Eric Davis has over 25 years experience in the meat trade. He was District Manager at Dominion supermarket for 10 years. He spent 5 years in Bermuda as meat manager, overseeing the meat departments of three supermarkets. And also spent time as a meat department manager in the Cayman Islands. Eric will welcome your questions regarding menu planning, and is always happy to discuss catering requirements or custom orders. |

The Butchers opened six years ago. Owner Marlon Pather, who was raised in Toronto, trained as a butcher in England. He worked at Sainsbury’s supermarket in London and then at Planet Organic, England’s first organic supermarket, where he helped open the meat department and where his customers included Bianca Jagger and Boy George. In 1996, Pather returned to Toronto and worked as meat manager at The Big Carrot Natural Food Market. He opened
